Submission Guidelines

Initial Submission

Paper Submission

Prospective authors should submit their papers electronically in PDF format until extended deadline February 16, 2020. The paper should be written in English and should have 6 to 8 pages according to Springer monograph templates (Word or LaTeX), including figures and references. Each paper should contain an Abstract 250 words max, and the following sections in the announced order: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References.
Up to two additional pages are permitted at extra charge (50€/page) that will be due during registration after notification of paper acceptance.

All papers submitted to MESROB 2020 will undergo a peer-review process. A manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, who will provide detailed comments and – if the submission is accepted – the authors submit a revised (“camera-ready”) version that takes into account this feedback. The review process is managed by the program chairs and the conference associate editors. Decision on the paper acceptance will be provided by April 1, 2020.

During initial submission, two different types of papers “label” can be chosen depending if the paper is written and will be presented by a student (student paper), or by researchers from postdoc level upwards (regular paper). All papers will be considered for awards (best research paper or best application paper) depending on their evaluation by reviewers and the award committee. Student papers will additionally have the chance to be considered for student paper awards.

All papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process: authors declare their names and affiliations in the manuscript for the reviewers to see, but reviewers do not know each other’s identities, nor do the authors receive information about who has reviewed their manuscript.

Final Submission (Camera-ready version)

If your paper has been accepted, please revise your manuscript based on the reviewer’s comments and submit the final version by May 1, 2020. The Copyright form are also required and has to be filled out. All necessary forms needed for submission will be created by the electronic submission website at the time of final submission.

During final submission, the corresponding author also provides a scanned copyright (copyright form link will be available soon) form along with the submission through the paper submission platform.

If you have any questions concerning the submission of your final paper, please check the conference submission website.
